About Us
Port Gutters, LLC is a full service gutter company located on the North Shore of Boston in Salisbury, MA. We custom fabricate seamless aluminum and copper gutters on-site. We take great pride in NOT subbing the work out, all work is performed by our employees. We service both residential and commerical customers throughout the Greater Newburyport & Southern New Hampshire & Maine Areas. Port Gutters LLC, is fully licensed and insured. We carry Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as General Liability Insurance. Our employees have successfully attended and completed the Aerial Work Platform Operator Training course. Both our Foreman & Project Manager are OSHA 10 & 30 certified.
Port Gutters, LLC is a family owned and operated business which was founded by Heidi Gigandet. Heidi launched Port Gutters in 2015 out of a need for a reliable gutter subcontractor for her husband Rick's construction business. Heidi has put her Bachelor's Degree in business and 24 year career in financial management systems into developing and executing successful business plans, as well as marketing and growth strategies for the business. Rick's 35 years of experience in the construction industry, blends well with his broad experience in field operations, management and sales. In addition to a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Rick holds both a Construction Supervisor's License as well as a Home Improvement Contractor's License. Coupled with their mutual entrepreneurial spirit, together Heidi & Rick have paved the way towards the success of their businesses.
Port Gutters, LLC is a proud member of the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce as well as the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce. We employ military veterans and proudly support the
men and women who serve in our military.
Ice Dams
As the winter approaches, many people ask about ice dams. Please note that gutters DO NOT cause ice dams. Ice dams are formed when a house is not properly insulated and the heat escapes through the roof. Here is a great video from This Old House which demonstrates how the ice dam forms.
